Dear 2026 SSPC Member
Please note that as the days are getting shorter over the coming weeks we will have to alter the timing of the last swim. The gates will then lock automatically 10 mins after the end of each swim. The dates and times for the closing of the gate are:
Monday 31 August - 8.10pm (last swim 7.30-8pm)
Monday 14 September – 7.40pm (last swim 7-7.30pm)
Monday 28 September – 7.10pm (Last swim 6.30=7pm)
IMPORTANT NOTICE
It is absolutely vital that every member signs in correctly at every visit to the pool! Whether to swim or not. There have been far too many cases recently when members have not signed in and out correctly. This is a requirement of our insurance. So please do not ignore this!
- Sign in on arrival and sign out only when you leave
- Give the exact number of members and guests in your party, including anyone who is not swimming
- Pay for each guest (£2 per adult and £1 per child). The pool relies on these additional funds in order to run effectively
SEPTEMBER EVENTS
The events this months are:

Friday, 18 September - Coffee/Tea Swim - 10.30am to 11.30am
Casual coffee and tea, with a selection of biscuits/traybakes. All lanes are available for free swimming during this time. A chance for a chat and to meet other SSPC members.
Saturday, 19 September - Kids Splash - 3.00pm to 4.00pm
Bring your inflatable and have fun in the pool with other kids. No booking required, just come along. Parents/guardians please be aware that you will need to be on-site and normal supervision rules apply.
Saturday, 19 September - Twilight Swim – 7.30pm to 9.00pm
A chance to swim by moonlight. No booking required, just come along.
LOST PROPERTY
We have quite a few items on the lost property shelves. Could everyone please have a quick look next time they are at the pool to see if any of the items belong to them. Many thanks!
