Local residents have priority to apply for membership from 1st January – 28th February
Local Membership is defined as those who are residents of Shere, Peaslake, Holmbury, Gomshall, Abinger and Albury Parish
If membership capacity has not been reached by 1st March, Existing Remote Members can submit an application for a 2027 membership
Existing Remote Members are defined as those who were members in 2025 or 2026 and do not live in the local area
Memberships will go live at 7pm on 1st March 2027.
Do not attempt apply prior to as your application will be rejected
Applying For Remote Membership
- All Remote Member account information from 2026 will have been removed
- You will NOT be able to login as your account no longer exists
- To apply for a membership you must do the following:
- Click Here
- Click on Join / Renew and register an account
- Submit an application
- Membership applications will be reviewed in the order they have received until we reach capacity minus 20 memberships
- Please be aware that submitting an application does not mean that you have successfully joined / renewed. This is not confirmed until you receive confirmation and a request for payment
Important information for those interested in remote membership:
- A remote member is eligible to renew in 2027 if they were a member in 2026 or 2025
- If you were last a remote member in 2024 or earlier, your membership is considered lapsed and you are not eligible to renew
- All applications are manually checked so please do not try and renew if you are not eligible. It causes us extra work and your application will be rejected. Thank you for your understanding
BALLOT PROCESS
We recognise that demand for membership is likely to be greater than the number available. To address this, 20 memberships will be retained and offered through a ballot. The ballot will be open only to the following groups:
- Local residents who did not join / renew in January or February
- Remote members who held membership in 2026 or 2025
- Applications must be submitted online
- The ballot will open once membership capacity has been reached and will close at 9am on Friday 19th March
- All applicants will be informed of the outcome by 1st April 2027
- If any memberships remain available after the ballot has taken place, they will be offered to new remote members
