Applications for the 2026 swimming season will once again be on-line.
Local residents have priority for membership. To facilitate this, locals have exclusive access to join or renew from 1st January 2026 until 28th February 2026.
As always applications will be processed in the order we receive them, so we would urge you to apply as soon as possible to secure your membership for the 2026 season.
KEY DATES FOR 2026 SEASON
1 January 2026 at midday – LOCAL RENEWALS OPEN. Priority access for local residents to join or renew their membership.
Local members include anyone who is a permanent resident of the Parishes of Shere, Peaslake, Holmbury, Gomshall, Abinger or Albury.
1 March 2026 at midday – REMOTE RENEWALS OPEN. If capacity has not been reached, existing remote members can submit an application for a 2026 membership. Local residents can continue to apply.
Existing remote members are all those who were members in 2025 or 2024 and do not live in the local area described above.
Important information for remote members wishing to renew:
* If you were a remote member in 2025 your details will be on our system and you should click the link below and then login via the button on the top right of the membership site (Do not click on the big, red join / Renew button) where you will be able to renew.
* If you were last a remote member in 2024 you are still eligible to renew, but your details will no longer be on our system. To apply you will need to click the link below and then click on the Join / Renew button, enter your details and submit an application for approval.
* If you were last a remote member in 2023 or earlier, your membership is considered lapsed and you are not eligible to renew. If you wish to rejoin please apply via the ballot process which will open as per the dates below.
All applications are manually checked so please do not try and renew if you are not eligible. It causes us extra work and your application will be rejected. Thank you for your understanding.
15 March 2026 at midday – BALLOT OPENS On 15th March, or earlier, if the maximum number of memberships has been reached, we will close the normal application process. Applications will then open for a ballot of 20 memberships. This ballot is open to all local and remote residents.
25 March 2026 at 9am - The ballot will close and 20 memberships will be drawn at random from those who applied for a ballot membership.
General membership reached capacity at 6pm on Sunday 1st March. Therefore the ballot has now opened.

Please note that the appropriate link to access the membership system will only appear on the dates stated above and not before. Equally please do not attempt to apply at a time which is not applicable for your application as it will be rejected.
